I am a May, 2026 Indiana University Indianapolis Honors graduate with a major in Exercise Science in the School of Health and Human Sciences. As a sophomore in high school, I tore my ACL during a basketball game. This was my very first experience with physical therapy, and at the time, I had no idea it would lead me here: a college undergraduate who dreams of becoming a PT, having this desire to help athletes recover in the way I was helped. My physical therapist was very inspiring and constantly showed me kindness and patience throughout my recovery process and never stopped motivating me to work on myself and get better. Without my physical therapist, I would not have been able to overcome this obstacle in my life. This is the kind of person I aspire to be in the future, and I know it's going to take a lot of hard work and dedication, but I am willing and very excited to make this kind of commitment if that's what it's going to take to have the career of my dreams!
